The wider objective of sustainable development is to find the optimal level of interaction among three systems - the biological and resource system, the economic system and the social system, through a dynamic and adaptive process of trade-offs.

Rupprecht Consult focusses on urban environmental planning and management processes based on a participatory approach. We have capacities in implementing community environmental policies and legislation for the promotion of sustainable development both in the European context and in developing countries.
