We have considerable experience in the development and application of tools in the areas of transport planning and management and environmental information systems. The tools are used for building capacities of urban practitioners.

We haven been involved in a training programme to build capacities of professionals responsible for radical and integrated sustainable transport systems (with the Directorate General for Energy and Transport of the European Commission).

Together with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) we build capacities of urban managers and technicians in the application of an environmental management information system (EMIS) in cities world-wide.

In the MILES project of the EU's Asia Pro Eco Programme, we are suppporting the training of municipal practitioners and community stakeholders in Sri Lanka in the fields of environmental planning, information management and spatial analysis.
