INTERACT was a European research and demonstration
project that created an integrated and interactive system to support
public authorities in Environmental Permitting and Environmental
Impact Assessment procedures and to provide direct and convenient
access to applicants for permissions (i.e. professional external
users, business developers and the general public) via Internet/WWW.

Project Goal |

The primary objective of INTERACT was the creation
of an innovative, integrated, cost effective, highly accessible,
portable and interactive system to support environmental permitting
and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Procedures.
The system provides differentiated and secure access to all relevant
user groups in this context: permitting authority users, applicants
for permissions, professional external users and the general public.
